BOSKOVICE
Boskovice is located in Central Moravia, about 40 km north of Brno, on the border between the Boskovice Gorge and the Drahanská Highlands, at an altitude of about 380 meters.
Boskovice is becoming a center of tourism and relaxation due to its beautiful surroundings. The entire area around the town has a resort character. The immediate surroundings offer interesting opportunities for hiking and cycling. Boskovice is surrounded by beautiful forests of the Drahanská vrchovina. There are a number of marked hiking trails around the town that lead to the quiet zones of the Kunštát region with the sandstone cave in Rudka. Boskovice is located in the northern part of the Moravian Karst with the Sloupsko-Šošůvské caves and other karst sites. The Moravian Karst is the second oldest Protected Landscape Area in the Czech Republic.

Šmelcovna Arboretum – a large arboretum with a zoo corner.
Pilské údolí – is a more than 3 km long section of the lower reaches of the Bělá River, which begins at the football field under the castle and ends above the confluence of the Bělá and Boskovice creek at the entrance to the Rapotinská basin. Thanks to the very skillful Mr. Borka, this place is carefully maintained. While walking here, people can admire the water mills, the bell tower, the hastrman guarding this area, or sit on wooden benches.
Boskovice Reservoir – from 2023, the dam will be accessible to pedestrians and cyclists from April to September.
Boskovice Observatory
Sportpark and Boskovice Trails – Sportpark Boskovice is the starting point for the BOSKOVICKÉ STEZKY area . In the Sportpark you will find the Singltrek Center, which serves as a facility for visitors to the Sportpark. The center includes sanitary facilities, a multi-purpose room with a small kitchenette. In the area you can use a self-service bicycle service, outdoor rest areas and refreshments.
The Red Garden area (approx. 300m from the cottage) – there is a beautiful summer swimming pool with a water slide and a slide in the area. There is a smaller heated pool for small children. The Red Garden also includes an ice rink, where public skating and hockey matches take place. For football lovers, there are also 2 football fields in the garden. There are also tennis courts in the garden area.
